Establishment of the Mine Detection Dog Center in Bosnia and Herzegovina – MDDC – is a response to a growing need for improvement of demining methods, mine risk education and need for building the capacity of quality trained mine, explosive and narcotic detection dog teams in the region of South East Europe and wider.
Besides the results MDDC accomplished throughout the world, from countries of South East Europe to Angola, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Lebanon and Iraq, the biggest value of the Center are its employees who implement large number of projects with high professionalism, leaving excellent results behind them.
Our dog instructors got their skills and expertise in USA and they are ready to respond to difficult challenges and to implement the projects of training of dogs and supporting staff of high quality anywhere in the world, as well as to be involved in supporting the demining projects.
As part of the project of training mine detection dogs and handlers for purposes of INAD in Angola, Mine Detection Dog Center have made another presentation of the progress in training MDD teams and impressed the audience consisted of INAD and military officials with their perfect work.
Two avalanche dogs trained by the Mine Detection Dog Ceter in Bosnia and Herzegovina (MDDC) for purposes of Civil Protection of Federation of BiH have successfully passed the testing organized on mountains Igman and Bjelašnica.
