On Friday 10.2.2012 MDDC have made another presentation of the progress achieved in training MDD teams for Angola, in front of the audience consisted of INAD and military officials. MDD handler Flavio and mine detection dog Mary did a perfect job searching three lines. After the third line Mary detected a mine burried under the surface and gave a sit response. At the same time, MDDC Instructors explained the audience all the methods of MDD search and answered many questions asked during the presentation. The Director of INAD was especially satisfied with the achievements and stated how excited he is to see these MDD teams work in the minefields since May 2012, also to continue with certficiation of teams and cooperation in area of mine detection dog training with Mine Detection Dog Center. After the official presentation was finished, handlers and instructors continued with their usual daily routine. However, obedience training they worked on was interesting enough for most of the viewers to stay and watch their training.
